Refund Policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026
Every app on Lamp. is free to use. Only the optional Plus plan (US$1.50 per month during the startup campaign; normally US$3) involves a payment, and this policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for it.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee on every payment
If you are not happy with Plus, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. This guarantee applies to both your first payment and every renewal payment. You do not need to give a reason.
2. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Cancelling does not delete anything. Drawings, music, and other creations are stored on your own device and are unaffected.
- To cancel, use the link in your purchase receipt from Paddle, or email us at makoto.develop@gmail.com.
3. Renewal payments
Each monthly renewal has its own 30-day refund period. If you contact us within 30 days of a renewal charge, we will refund that renewal payment in full. Requests made more than 30 days after a charge are considered individually, and any statutory rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
4. Always refunded, at any time
- Duplicate or accidental charges.
- Charges you did not authorise (for example, a child completing a purchase). Purchase pages sit behind a parental gate specifically to prevent this, but if it happens, we refund it.
- A paid feature that did not work and that we could not fix for you.
5. How to request a refund
- Email makoto.develop@gmail.com from the address you used to purchase, or use the link in your Paddle receipt.
- Include the Paddle order number from your receipt if you have it.
- We aim to reply within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued by Paddle, our payment provider, back to the original payment method. Paddle typically completes this within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you — including, in the EU and UK, the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.
